SUMMIT COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) – Akron police are looking for the gunman who opened fire inside a crowded bar early Monday, injuring three people.
According to police, the shooting happened around 2 a.m. at the Field House Lounge in the 300 block of Paul Williams St.
Off-duty uniformed officers working security for the business heard the gunshots and called for assistance.
When officers went inside, they found two of the three victims, an 18-year-old male and a 36-year-old man.
Both were transported to a local hospital and are listed in critical condition. Their names have not been released.
The third victim, a 25-year-old man, showed up at an emergency room with a graze-gunshot injury. His name is also not being released.
Police said there had been a concert at the Field House Lounge and at some point a fight broke out and the gunman fired multiple shots.
Promotion flyers posted to social media indicate the concert was featuring rapper Torence “Boosie” Ivy Hatch Jr.
